Description

This module will allow students to identify a key argument in the development of Western philosophy, understand its role and significance, analyse its structure, and assess it. Students will work collaboratively in small groups of five or six to produce two presentations, one identifying the argument and justifying their choice, the other analysing and assessing the argument. The module will emphasise enquiry and independent learning as well as the analysis and assessment of arguments.
